SCHOOL HISTORY
The school’s educational journey started in 1995, beginning with pre-kindergarten and continuing to second grade. It then expanded to include one additional grade each year until high school. Saint Thomas School was founded as a private, independent, non-sectarian school that serves Dominican and foreign populations interested in a United States–based curriculum.
Saint Thomas School is a distinguished private institution known for its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and its comprehensive college preparatory curriculum. We provide a superior Preschool, Elementary, Middle, and High School education for Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic students. In our environment, students feel safe, appreciated, and unique.
Saint Thomas School is dedicated to meeting our students’ diverse abilities and educational needs. We prepare them for the 21st century by providing instruction in world languages and technology. Our curriculum fosters the development of multiple intelligences through various activities, including musicals, theater productions, robotics competitions, athletic events, science fairs, cultural fairs, spelling bees, and more!
